Explore St. Thomas Best Beaches On The Island
St Thomas is one of the most scenic of the US Virgin Islands, with stunning scenery, blue waters and sandy beaches. There are over 40 on the island – so you have lots to see when you join us for a group day charter! If all this sounds like paradise and you’re eager to explore with us at Sabrage Charters using one of our day charter excursions, here are a few of the beach-based highlights in store for you on the island…
Magen’s Bay
Popular with travelers on cruises and local charters, Magen’s Bay is arguably the most beautiful beach on the island. This is a spot where both locals and visitors come to relax, and has proven popular for a wide variety of activities including picnics, parties and swimming. There are lifeguards looking out for swimmers here each day.
Sapphire Beach
This is the best beach for those on the lookout for white sands, crystal clear waters and ample shade thanks to the grape trees which line the area. It’s become popular with sun worshiping visitors, and there is delightful wildlife to explore, too – everything from iguanas to ducks call Sapphire Beach home.
Water sports are easy to access here with kayaks, wind-surfing and snorkeling and you can rent equipment at the beach. For anyone interested in local cuisine, they’re in the right place – there’s an open air grill and drinks vendor at a nearby restaurant.
Coki Point
One of the smallest beaches in St Thomas, but no less impressive for its petite size, this is a favorite of our group day charter guests. Coki Point has only limited shade available, so it’s best for dedicated sunbathers unless you’re willing to rent an umbrella nearby. The beach can get a little crowded thanks to cruise traffic, though it’s usually a little quieter during the week. One of the more tourist-oriented areas, Coki Point is surrounded by vendors selling everything from hair braiding to clothing.
Turtle Cove
Home to one of the most luxurious resorts in St. Thomas, the Ritz Carlton, this cove is simply beautiful – and you’ll be within easy reach of a range of activities including snorkeling, kayaking and a range of other water sports.
Bluebeards Beach
Once a quiet spot, Bluebeards Beach is now a popular place to hit the sand with a restaurant, swimming pool and luxury accommodation all located nearby ensuring space for your beach towel can be in short supply during peak season. Popular activities to enjoy at the beach here include kite boarding and windsurfing.
Brewers Bay
For tranquil surroundings and a truly beautiful natural space, look no further than Brewers Bay. This is a chance to relax on a picturesque beach which doesn’t cater to tourists, but does provide the ideal place to enjoy some peace and quiet during your day charter in St. Thomas.
